Our Design Services

From our London studio every project that Atelier KV undertakes is unique and as such our design services are always adaptable to the needs of the client. Our services include conceptual development, architectural design, spatial planning, furniture curation, furniture design and styling as well as an optional menu of branding and marketing services for commercially driven projects. We are also mindful of individual budgets and offer a tiered consultancy service in addition to end to end interior design services.

TIMELINE

  1. UNDERSTANDING YOUR VISION

    We schedule an initial meeting to understand the functional and practical requirements of the space and to discuss any design ideas you may already have.

  2. CONCEPT BOARD

    Our team create an initial concept board – a curated collection of images that conveys the colours, shapes, textures and emotional ambience of the intended scheme.

  3. MOOD BOARD

    From the concept, a mood board is developed incorporating proposed colours, finishes and suggested furniture styles to give an impression of design intent. This creates a basis for further conversation and allows us to collaboratively agree on the creative direction for the project.

  4. FURNITURE LAYOUT & ROOM DESIGN

    We take existing architectural plans and draw up professional furniture layouts for the space. Proposed furniture, lighting and accessories are included in a separate design schematic for each room allowing you to visualise the design. If required we can also produce 3D computer generated images.

  5. BESPOKE FURNITURE AND JOINERY DESIGN

    If required our team can design bespoke furniture, fitted furniture and joinery to create exquisite pieces with detailed specification appropriate to the style and proportions of the property. All of our bespoke pieces are undertaken by an expert team of artisans whom we have personally selected for their quality and craftsmanship. Complex finishes and detailing are integral to our bespoke work and we thrive on discovering new methods and innovative materials to develop interiors of distinction.

  6. MATERIAL SUGGESTIONS

    We provide samples for each room including proposed fabric choices and hard finishes based on your taste, budget and practical requirement.

  7. WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION

    We work with expert teams that deliver and install all pieces, tidying away any rubbish to leave your property spotless. We also offer styling services sourcing accessories from our global network of luxury suppliers thereby providing a true "turnkey" experience.
